Product Description

The second most important Piedmontese grape variety in Northern Italy after Nebbiolo, the barbera grape has vibrant flavours, fresh acidity and soft tannins making it very easy to drink, with or without food. Mongrel Barbera 2010 shows classical varietal characteristics, is crimson in colour with a savoury fruit flavour that dominates the palate of this medium-bodied food wine which has typical firm acidity and fine tannins

Cellaring: Drink now with food or cellar for 3 – 4 years for added complexity.
